Stars and Strikes Bowling League This program is designed for children and young adults with developmental disabilities. We meet every Saturday at Noon.

 

$7.00 for two games

Pay as you Play! Very laid back league. People come and go as needed.

Georgetown Parks and Recreation offers a spring and a fall co-rec youth soccer league each year. The fall season begins in September. Players must be four years of age on or before September 1, 2009. This league is designed to be an educational, fun, healthy experience for youth in grades Pre K – 8th. This ten week program is held on Saturdays only at the soccer fields adjacent to the Georgetown Recreation Center on Austin Avenue. Fees are $30/Resident and $40/Non Resident. Spring Ball!

Georgetown Youth Baseball Association

If your student is interested in playing baseball this season, email Charlotte Friemal at Include in your e-mail: parents and child name, age and contact information. Age ranges from 4 to 17 or 18. Charlotte can also be reached at 512-818-7092.

The Miracle League provides an opportunity for special needs kids to play baseball in a fun, safe way, assisted by "buddies" that are 12 years or older and have had training. Their season begins April 4 and registration is underway.

Soccer

 

EGA member was instrumental in organizing the team that played this fall. You can register nor the spring season through Parks and Recreation. Let them know: we are interested in more special needs involvement!

 

Special Needs Youth Soccer

Georgetown Parks and Recreation offers a spring and fall co-rec youth soccer league for special needs youth each year. The spring season begins in April and the fall season begins in September. This league will accept a wide variety of youth including those that use wheelchairs and/or need assistance from an adult or sibling. In order to participate in the Fall 2009 season, players must be four years of age no later than Sept. 15, 2009. This league is designed to be an educational, fun, healthy experience for youth in Pre K - 8th grade. This ten week program is held on Saturdays only at the soccer fields adjacent to the Georgetown Recreation Center on Austin Avenue. The first two Saturdays are practices and the last eight Saturdays are games. Fees are $30/Resident and $40/Non Resident. For more information please call 512/930-3595.
